Maurine (Renee) C. Waun, D.Min.

Rev. Renee (Maurine) C. Waun is a seasoned minister who has officiated at hundreds of weddings in the tri-state area in many types of indoor and outdoor locations and venues, including churches, parks, restaurants, homes, back yards, wedding halls, barns, conservatories and museums. Her specialty is personalized ceremonies, unique to each couple and their wishes. She is non-denominational and can work with interfaith weddings as well. Her goal is to create a ceremony that is beautiful, memorable and joyous for everyone in attendance.



Dr Waun has served Unitarian Universalist churches in PA and WV since 1999. Prior to ministry, she spent several years as a teacher on a variety of levels including Montessori, high school and university. In 2006 she became Founding Sponsor of the African Rural School Foundation, for AIDS orphans and disadvantaged children in Uganda (http://www.africanruralschools.org/)

Availability: Available for weddings, memorials and rights of passage.
