Innocenti Strings LLC. Composer/Arranger

Innocenti Strings LLC just appointed Randall West as our official composer/arranger.

although we provide about 300 pieces of music to choose from, any of our client can now request about anything they want. from U2 to Coldplay, our new arranger will transcribe the selection of your choice for any instrumentation.



Randall West is a composer and sound artist whose catalog includes music for the concert hall as well as electroacoustic, vocal, and experimental music. His music tends to explore novel ways in which performers or sounds interact, while directly engaging its audience with colorful timbres, striking melodies, and a vivid theatricality. His musical inspiration spans from 20th century modernism to the baroque, Indian classical, Japanese folk, electronic, avant-garde, and popular music.

Randall received his Masters from the Chicago College of the Performing Arts, where his he studied with Stacy Garrop, Daron Hagen, and Kyong Mee Choi. He has been awarded fellowships by the Seasons Music Festival and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and was the recipient of the CCPA Wind Ensemble Competition for Wayna Picchu. His works have been read or performed by Palomar, the Yakima Symphony, the University of Illinois New Music Ensemble, Chicago Opera Vanguard, and S.O.N.G. among others. His electroacoustic music has also been presented at ICMC 2010 in New York and at Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art. As an active member of the Art and New Music community, Randall has collaborated with award-winning artists including poets Jill McDonough and Matthew Hittinger and sculptor Robert MacNeil. He has served in leadership roles with Accessible Contemporary Music and is one of the founders of the Chicago Composers Orchestra. Randall also works as a computer programmer, and is a pianist and performer of traditional Japanese music on shamisen and taiko.

Michael O'Gieblyn:

An accomplished violinist, violist, and versatile musician, Michael O'Gieblyn adroitly navigates across musical genres including classical, Broadway, fiddle, and pop music. He performed in the world premiere of the Broadway musical The Glorious Ones, playing solo violin and mandolin, and on the soundtrack to the 2006 MGM motion picture Home of the Brave.

An avid chamber musician, he was recently featured on two newly released CD’s by Paul Luc and Christina Chirumbolo.

Mr. O’Gieblyn participated in international summer festivals in Montpellier, France; Beverly Hills, CA; and Pilsen, Czech Republic, and received the “Marylin and Ray Gindroz Prize” to study in Europe.

He holds a degree with honors in violin performance from Carnegie Mellon University where he studied with Cyrus Forough. Mr. O’Gieblyn has performed with the Erie Philharmonic, McKeesport Symphony, and the Österreich Vienna Classic Philharmonic's 2010 tour
