New Musicians in Washington DC

Allyson Clark:Allyson Clark began studying the violin at the age of four at Nevada School of the Arts where she was a Liberace Scholar. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Music degree from Manhattan School of Music where she was a student of Neil Weintrob and Curtis Macomber. Hailed by the New York Times for her “finely polished” and “warm-toned” playing, Ms. Clark has performed in myriad venues including Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center, Symphony Space, the Library of Congress, Constitution Hall, and the National Gallery. She recently completed a Master of Music degree from the University of Maryland, College Park under the tutelage of James Stern, Elisabeth Adkins, and members of the Guarneri String Quartet. An active recitalist and chamber musician, Ms. Clark can be heard performing throughout the Washington D.C. area.
